All backends are down error. Genuine IP address is being blocked from accessing trezor endpoints

Hi everyone,

I’m curious why a genuine IP address might be blocked from accessing Trezor endpoints like this one. I’d be happy to share the specific IP address details via DM if needed. Currently, the Trezor device is essentially unusable due to this issue.

Has anyone encountered the “all backends are down” message? What are the recommended steps to mitigate this? The friend who faced this problem wasn’t using a VPN and was connected through their country’s largest telecom provider, both on mobile and WiFi.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

From the screenshots you provided, it looks like the internet service provider you use is blocking the connection to our servers. Can I ask you about which provider you use and what country you are connecting from?

Try to use a VPN, it should help.
