Address syntax invalid

New Trezor. Think I chose bech32. Have a bch coinbase acount and a Bitcoin-QT btc running. I try sending bch to the Trezon bch wallet receive address from Coinbase but get it’s an invalid address. Checking on bch wallet address validator and get that the address has an invalid syntax. I try transferring btc from Bitcoin-QT but entering the btc address given by Trezor, the address entry balks.
